Tate had his final basketball game of the season this morning. His little team tried so hard, but ended the season a whopping 1 and 7. They scored a total of about 24 points all season long.
I am so proud of Tate for how much he learned throughout this season. He really understands the game so much better now and he's playing a million times better than he did at the start of the season. One of my most favorite things about him is his heart - he tries so hard every time he's on the court and there's nothing more than I can ask for than that.
Today Tate got moved to point guard for the first time and he was great! He scored the team's only 4 points (his first baskets of the season). He was THRILLED!!! What a fantastic end to a fun season... despite our win-loss record.
Is it me, or do those kids on the other team look like second graders?!
