Happy Happy Birthday

Today would have been Nash's fourth birthday.  I cannot get over the fact that my little baby would be a preschooler.  I try to imagine what he would look like, who he would be...  It's so hard though.

I miss his little face.  I look at this picture and notice things that I wish I could touch and smell... like that little spot on his neck right below his earlobe.  I just want to kiss him again.  I want to wrap my arms around him and tell him how happy I am to be his mommy.  I want to see his face as he blows out his candles and eats his cake.  I want to watch him with his friends at his party - see him run around and play.  I just want him back.
Each year on his birthday, I share a slideshow my friend made back on his first birthday.  Click here to see it.  Please feel free to watch it... maybe it's your first time or maybe it's your fourth.  Either way, please remember my little boy today.

Love to y'all,
Tracy

Dear Nash,
Four years ago, at this hour, I held you for the first time. Happy Birthday, darling Grandson, Nash.
Today we celebrate our love for you.
The 10 am mass was offered in your intention today. Yellow balloons have been launched. We even went to Chuck E. Cheese for pizza and games today. Jan. 15 will always be all about you.
I miss your big smile and your bright blue eyes. Please know I love you only as a grandma could. God bless you on your very special day. Love ya!
